The Northshore Business Council (NBC) commissioned the Metropolitan Crime Commission (MCC) to implement a second Accountability Project designed to bring transparency to the efficiency, effectiveness and performance of the St. Tammany Parish Criminal Justice System. The data collected and analyzed by the MCC came from the criminal justice agencies which include the 22nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, the St. Tammany Parish Clerk of Court, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, City Police Departments including, but not limited to, Slidell, Covington and Mandeville, and the judiciary of the 22nd Judicial District Court.
The Final Report and the performance analysis of this examination will be shared with the public at our second Annual Criminal Justice System Report Luncheon on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at ‘The Greystone’ in Mandeville.
This MCC Report is proudly commissioned by the NBC, who understands that a well working and fully coordinated criminal justice system are critical components to improving public safety and quality of life for all St. Tammany Parish citizens. .
